I offer individual sessions to teens and adults and sometimes will offer supportive sessions to the parents and loved ones of my teen clients (read more below). Both in-person and telehealth sessions are available and the same cost. Below is the cost of counseling services if you are NOT using insurance and paying out of pocket. It is important to find a counselor you connect with and who specializes in the area you want to focus on. Prior to scheduling an Intake Counseling Session, we will have a 15 minute phone call to discuss logistics, such as insurance and scheduling, as well as what brings you to counseling. This is the first session you will have with me. During this session, we will look at the big picture of your life to identify what has happened and what is currently going on so we know where to place our focus moving forward.
After our first session, every other session that follows will fall into this category. Sessions will range from 45 minutes to 1 hour. During our time together, wee will focus on the goals we created in the intake session or on any other present issue that arises.
When I work with individuals, especially teens, we often find it beneficial to bring in parents or other family members to help us work together toward a common goal. If that is the case, I or the client will reach out to the family member(s) to schedule.
